Ambassadors Program Airport Ambassador
 Volunteer Airport Ambassadors are an essential part of the services offered in our airport. Airport Ambassadors provide a touch of true Southern hospitality to welcome our traveling guests to Georgia’s Coastal Empire, Golden Isles and South Carolina’s Low Country.
Created as a means to enhance the existing passenger services already in place, the Ambassadors Program consists of friendly airport representatives who are responsible for basic customer services including greeting travelers, assisting with directions, ground transportation and basic flight information, and providing detailed information.
Red blazers easily identify the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport Ambassadors. Each Ambassador graciously volunteers his or her time out of a sense of civic responsibility and the desire to meet new people. We are honored to have such devoted representatives to welcome guests to our Airport.
Volunteers are encouraged to join the Ambassador Program. To be eligible for an Ambassador position, individuals must be willing to work a weekly two-hour shift, stand for two hours, and participate in a team environment.
