COVID – 19 Update

The safety of our passengers, staff, and tenants continues to be a top priority of Savannah/Hilton Head International. SAV is continuously monitoring the coronavirus disease (COVID- 19) outbreak and remains in contact with our partners and stakeholders at the local, state, and national levels including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Georgia Department of Health.

Travel Restrictions:
There are no restrictions for travel to, from, or within Georgia. If you leave your home, you must follow public health safety measures and local laws. If you test positive for COVID-19, you must follow home isolation protocol.

There is not a testing site at SAV. Please contact a local pharmacy or urgent care/physician’s office that offers the test.

Your home state or country may have restrictions in place. Find out what applies to you before you travel on the U.S. State Department website.

If you are traveling from Georgia to another state, please be aware of the public heath safety measure and local laws there.

Airline Updates:
The airlines may require passengers to wear face masks during check-in, boarding, in flight, and when deplaning. For the most accurate and up to date information about airline policies and flight status, please check with your airline.

Operational Updates:
Many of the shops and restaurants at SAV are making changes to their operations. Some shops and restaurants may still be closed even when flights are operating.

Transportation Security Administration Updates:
TSA is allowing passengers to bring hand sanitizer up to 12oz in carry-on bags until further notice. Passengers can expect that these containers will need to be screened separately, which may add time to the checkpoint screening experience.
