This is a drill. Today, October 22, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You may notice a heavy presence of emergency response vehicles and activity on the north side of the airfield. Regular commercial air travel or activities within the terminal will NOT be affected or delayed by the exercise. Area residents and visitors should expect to see emergency vehicles and other official traffic engaged in the exercise, and controlled fire and smoke may also be visible.

This full-scale exercise is conducted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations that require an airport operator to conduct live drills on airport property every three years. The exercise will provide an opportunity for various agencies in the area to work together to enhance response skills for aviation mass-casualty incidents.

Fall Break Travel Tips
• Arrive at least 2 hours before your flight.
• Allow extra time for parking and follow signs to available parking lots
• Pack snacks for unexpected delays
• When meeting arriving passengers, meeters and greeters are encouraged to use the Airport Cell Phone Lot. When your party arrives and has picked up their baggage from baggage claim, they can call to be picked up curbside.
