SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International is pleased to announce that American Airlines will add year-round/daily nonstop service to Miami International Airport starting June 7, 2018. The airline will also begin seasonal/daily nonstop service to Chicago O’Hare Airport beginning June 7 through September 4, 2018.
“Additional service to Chicago and the return of direct service to south Florida has been on our top five air service priority list for some time now, and we have been working very hard on that list,” said Greg Kelly, Executive Director of Savannah/Hilton Head International. “We are very pleased that American Airlines has decided to add both Chicago and Miami service to our market. Direct access to both of these American hubs will be a great benefit to our region.”
American Eagle will operate its Embraer ERJ-145 configured with fifty seats into Savannah/Hilton Head International for both routes.
