SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International reports 392,023 passengers used the Airport in the month of March, an 20% increase over the same month last year. Total passengers for 2023 are 796,972 an increase of 21% over the same period one year ago. The number of available seats reported for February shows an increase of 17% over the same period in 2022.

Market share for airlines serving Savannah/Hilton Head International in March was as follows: Delta Air Lines 29%, American 23%, United Airlines 16%, Southwest 15%, JetBlue 9%, Allegiant 5%. Avelo, Breeze, Frontier, Silver and Sun Country were each 1% or less.

On April 20, Avelo Airlines announced new nonstop flights to Delaware’s Wilmington Airport (ILG) – a convenient and easy alternative to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Avelo will be the only airline flying between Georgia and The First State.

Nonstop service from SAV to Wilmington will begin on June 28 and operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays utilizing 189-seat Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft. Introductory one-way fares between SAV and ILG start at $39*. Customers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.
