We recommend passengers confirm their flight status with their airline before heading to the airport. Airport operations and maintenance crews are actively monitoring conditions and will take all necessary steps to maintain safe operations, including airfield and terminal treatment as needed.

SAVANNAH, GA – All commercial air carrier operations have ceased for this evening at Savannah/Hilton Head International in anticipation of Hurricane Irma’s arrival. We will post updates on tomorrow’s flight operations when it becomes available. 

Airport parking is open and accessible. Customers who wish to return a rental car may utilize the drop boxes located at the rental car counters if an attendant is not on duty. 

Up-to-date flight information can be found on flySAV.com, airline websites, and social media pages. Please monitor Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport’s Facebook page or follow us on twitter @fly_SAV for the latest information concerning airport operations.

The public is urged not to call the airport but to contact the airlines directly for the most current flight information. Calls to the airport made during this time period will reach emergency operations personnel.
