SAVANNAH, GA – On December 3, 2015, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport will enter into a five-year Sister Airport Agreement with Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Both Airports will commit to the exchange of ideas and information pertaining to the passenger and tourism industries at both Airports; promote the relationship and advantages of visiting and/or doing business at the other’s airport through customary marketing processes; and working groups made up of a limited number of representatives from each party will promote and monitor the exchange of ideas and strategies. Savannah/Hilton Head International is the first domestic airport Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has selected as a Sister Airport.

 The signing ceremony is open to the public and is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in the Savannah Airport Commission conference room located on the third floor of the terminal building.
