SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has been notified by CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. (CSX) that the railroad crossings at both Bourne Avenue/Dean Forest Road and Gulfstream Road will be temporarily closed for maintenance. Travelers are encouraged to plan additional travel time when coming to or leaving the airport particularly beginning July 20th when both crossings will be closed simultaneously.
Closure Schedule:
Bourne Avenue / Dean Forest Road Railroad Crossing
- Closed: Thursday, July 16th at 5:00 AM
- Reopens: Tuesday, July 21st
Gulfstream Road Railroad Crossing
- Closed: Monday, July 20th at 5:00 AM
- Reopens: Wednesday, July 22nd
