SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International reports 208,346 passengers used the Airport in the month of June, an 14% increase over the same month last year. Total passengers for 2016 are 1,068,079 an increase of 9% over the same period one year ago. The number of available seats reported for June shows an increase of 15% over the same period in 2015.
Market share for airlines serving Savannah/Hilton Head International in June was as follows: Delta Air Lines 42%, American 23%, JetBlue 10%, United Airlines 16%, and Allegiant 9%.
Savannah/Hilton Head International currently offers 45 daily non-stop departures and several additional weekly nonstop flights and destinations are offered seasonally. On November 16, Allegiant Air will further add to the nonstop schedule with new seasonal service between Newark and Savannah/Hilton Head International. The new service will operate three times weekly. On October 2, 2016, American Airlines will begin daily service to Washington Reagan.
