SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV), iHeart Radio, and the 165th Airlift Wing Veterans Association are sending two active duty servicemembers home to spend time with their families this holiday season.
The Home for the Holidays contest began November 1 and ran through November 29. Over ninety entries were received and two lucky winners serving on active duty were chosen by a committee to receive a free round-trip ticket home.
SAV would like to congratulate this year’s winners, Senior Airman Tequila Adams who is currently stationed at Edwards Air Force Base and Captain Vanessa Mena Fernandez who is stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. SAV would also like to wish all of the contestants a happy holiday season and say thank you for participating in the Home for the Holidays contest.
