SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport continues to experience record breaking growth as passenger numbers climb. The airport welcomed 268,655 travelers to the region in May with an increase of 14% in enplanements. The total number of passengers for 2018 are 1,074,352 an increase of 11% over the same period a year ago.
SAV traffic has been on the rise over the past few years, with the addition of new discount airlines and destinations. Joining the list is Frontier which just recently entered the market in May adding discounted flights to Denver and Philadelphia.
Savannah/Hilton Head International currently offers 26 destinations with 60 daily non-stop departures and several additional weekly nonstop flights and destinations offered seasonally.
