North Economy Garage closed for maintenance. Travelers should seek additional parking in Lot D located off Aggett Drive.

CSX Bourne Avenue & Gulfstream Road Railroad Crossings Closing in Chatham County

SAV has been notified by CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. (CSX) that the railroad crossings at Bourne Avenue/Dean Forest Road and Gulfstream Road will be temporarily closed for maintenance. Travelers are encouraged to allow extra travel time when arriving at or departing from the airport, particularly from July 20–21, when both crossings will be closed simultaneously and traffic delays are expected. The Bourne Avenue/Dean Forest Road crossing will be closed July 16–21, and the Gulfstream Road crossing will be closed July 20–22.

SAVANNAH, GA – Flights are operational today with numerous cancellations through Monday and possibly Tuesday. Passengers should contact the airlines directly for specific flight status. Up-to-date flight information can be found on flySAV.com, airline websites, mobile apps, and social media pages.

Some of the airport shops and restaurants may be closed even when flights are operating. Airport parking is still available and will only be closed during the storm. Those who are able to access airport roadways will be able to pick up their vehicle.

The public is urged not to call the airport but to contact the airlines directly for the most current flight information. Calls to the airport made during this time period will reach emergency operations personnel.
