Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport reports 2013 annual passenger statistics that surpassed 2012 numbers by 1%.  A strong first and fourth quarter helped the yearly total, with December traffic 4% higher than 2012.  With passenger enplanements (boardings) of 823,494, and deplanements of 818,594, the Airport served 1,642,088 passengers in 2013. “While our traffic was up slightly in 2013, we’re optimistic about even higher numbers in 2014”, said Executive Director Greg Kelly. He continued, “With JetBlue starting service and with our other air carriers adding capacity, we’re poised for a much better year with an expected 10% increase in traffic.”
