Savannah/Hilton Head International August Passenger Stats
SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International reports passenger numbers are up over
20% for the month of August and up close to 16% year to date. Available seats are up
approximately 10% for the year and load factors are up 83%; a 5% increase over 2013. JetBlue
has captured 10% of the market share this year and Delta continues to hold 48%, as the leading
airline at SAV. Below are the year-to-date traffic highlights for August 2014:
• Passenger numbers:
o Domestic: 1,268,431, +15.94%
o Enplanements: 636,631, +16.33%
o Deplanements: 631,800, +15.55%
• Cargo volume: 5,239.6 tons, +14.5%
o Freight: 10,479,117, +14.5%
• Aircraft Movements: 56,988 +13.4%
