SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has set another passenger record welcoming 115,697 travelers in March and breaking its previous monthly passenger record set earlier this year. Enplanements for the month were up 9% bringing the total number of passengers for 2018 to 540,776 an increase of 6% over the same period one year ago.

The airport has seen an increase in overall capacity – meaning more seats and more options for travelers – reporting a 12% gain in the number of available seats for the month. The stronger passenger numbers can be contributed to larger aircraft on several routes including those on American and United and the addition of seasonal service with Air Canada, and Allegiant.

Savannah/Hilton Head International currently offers 26 destinations with 60 daily non-stop departures and several additional weekly nonstop flights and destinations offered seasonally. For current flight information, check the Airport’s website at www.flySAV.com.
