SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah/Hilton Head International reports 198,575 passengers used the Airport in the month of May, a 3.5% increase over the same month last year. Total passengers for 2015 are 795,104 an increase of 6% over the same period one year ago.
Market share for airlines serving Savannah/Hilton Head International in February was as follows: Allegiant 2%, American/US Airways 25% Delta Air Lines/Delta Connection 47%, JetBlue 11%, and United Airlines 15%.
Savannah/Hilton Head International currently offers several daily non-stop departures with service to Akron-Canton, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington, DC.
On March 19, Sun Country announced plans for seasonal nonstop service to Minneapolis beginning August 27 and running through December 13. The new service departs Minneapolis/St Paul on Thursdays and returns on Sundays.
