Travel + Leisure recently announced the winners of their coveted 2017 World’s Best Awards, and Savannah/Hilton Head International has been named one of the 10 Best Domestic Airports.
Each year, Travel + Leisure asks its readers to vote for their favorite transportation, hotels, cities, islands, cruise lines, tours, and more. The winners are revealed with Travel + Leisure’s annual World’s Best Awards, denoting the greatest travel experiences around the world.
Readers ranked their favorite domestic airports in a variety of categories including access, check-in/security, restaurants/bars, shopping, and design. Savannah/Hilton Head International ranked No. 8 on the list of Top 10 Best Domestic Airports, which the publication calls “standout hubs” in the U.S.
